
Steve Garratt
Steve created the Giggle group 4 years ago with 3 other directors, Jaz Castleton, Charlie Hepburn and James Carnaby. Steve started life as a theatre director before moving across to post production, animation then Motion capture, 3D animation and computer games before becoming a freelance writer and setting up the Giggle group.
Steve loves cake and can often be found stuffing a muffin in his mouth when he finally stops talking about how the future of the web is video based and animation rules the communication world!
Peter Rogers
Pete moved to Giggle after 10 years working in radio, most recently as Managing Director of Heart 102.4 in Gloucestershire. Pete now brings his extensive commercial account management experience and creativity into the Giggle family as our Head of Business development.
His radio career began as a copywriter, picking up a number of national advertising awards and three London International Advertising Award nominations along the way.
Pete is also an Eagle Award nominated graphic novelist working on fantasy, sci fi and horror titles as well as the unofficial biography of David Beckham.
He has also appeared on the Portuguese version of You’ve been framed.
James Sykes
James Sykes is our Head of Production

Al Wynn
Al Wynn is Head of post production and Visual Effects (VFX). Al has a wealth of broadcast industry experience. He started life as a Graphic Operator for live business news channel, followed by a stint as a Freelance Graphic Designer, before joining BSkyB.
During his decade at BSkyB, he worked as a Designer on Sky Sports News, was a Studio Set Designer, before spending 5 years as Senior Promo Designer for Sky Sports, where he worked on many high profile projects such as New Football Season launches, as well as Programme Title Sequences and Channel Idents.
Al joined Giggle in 2009 having spent 18 months as a creative for Apple.

Jim Alexander
Jim is a Senior Animator at the Giggle Group and our longest serving member of staff.
Jim has been working in post-production for 5 years since graduating with a BA in Animation. To date he has worked on a variety of projects including music videos, stings, projections for theatre and corporate events. Jim has created several short films of his own which have won awards at festivals as well as being shown at events such as Glastonbury and reading music festivals.
Jim has just finished animating 3 interactive DVD’s for the Grand Appeal, Abbot Pharmaceuticals and UBHT PCT for children with suffering from HIV and AIDS.

Alex King
Alex originally trained as an Exhibition Designer before turning his hand to compositing and animation around 6 years ago. Since then he worked freelance in Bristol for a number of years working on various projects including music videos and broadcast adverts.
Nearly 3 years ago he did a bit of freelance at Giggle, a full time job was offered so he plonked his backside down and hasn’t move since.
Lizzie Wakefield
Lizzie joined Giggle a year ago as an intern and is now a full blown animator and important member of the design team. She previously worked in broadcast animation for four years in a
variety of different roles from ink and paint artist to prop maker and set dresser.
Lizzie has recently attained a merited MA in the Graphic Arts, and next plans to take the theatre world by storm, having joined the St Paul's amateur dramatics group in Bristol.
Claire Opie
Claire recently joined the Giggle team as administrator, copywriter and spreadsheet junkie. Since graduating with a BA in Creative Writing, Claire has worked as a web project manager, bridging the gap between the technical and creative aspects of the process.
She’s a culture vulture, and her creative writing has been published and performed. She rules the office with a rod of iron, and a box of biscuits.

Nicola Oelmann
Nicola is the Giggles groups new trainee animator. She is currently studying a three year BA degree in Animation and well on course for a much deserved first.

Naomi
Naomi is the Giggle Groups new apprentice. She is working closely with our video production and VFX teams and will be staying with us for 1 year.

Charlie Hepburn

Jaz Castleton
Jaz is a director at the giggle group and is currently working as senior DOP for BBC Drama on Casualty.

James Carnaby
James Carnaby is a director at the Giggle group. he is currently working extensively in the live events filed as a producer and Cameraman.
